That’s not true. SEO is alive and a little fat . On some blogs I read that SEO is losing his importance because webmasters now are using Social Media more to create traffic for their sites. But NO, SEO will die only when persons will not search at search engines.

… and when the search engines will die?

I don’t know that. But i’m sure for one thing. When a person want to find something about cooking or how to make money online blogs, he will not go to facebook or twitter to search for them but he will use one from search engines (like google, bing or yahoo).

… and what about social medias?

The Social Medias can bring you to much traffic if you know how to use them. If you create a fanpage on facebook for your site and publish there latest articles from your blog, the members of the fanpage will click on the links and come to your site. Those days I will write an article how to use facebook and twitter to create traffic for your site.

My conclusion is …

… that seo will die only when the search engines will die. And i don’t think that something like that will happen for one ore two decades. Always we will need to work on seo even if search engines will not exist more. We always will need to optimize our products to bring them to the consumers.

What about Social Media?

Social Medias (Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Hi5 etc) work on seo too , that’s why the seo will be alive always.
